Abstract
Objective To test the reliability and validity of Chinese Version of Expanded Prostate Cancer Index Composite for Clinical Practice (EPIC-CP).Method Chinesizing English-version of EPIC-CP by procedure of direct translation -translation integration-reversed translation-culture adaption-pre-experiment to receive a Chinese version of EPIC-CP.Investigate 160 patients with prostate cancer and analyze its reliability and validity by SPSS 17.0.Result There are 16 items and 5 dimensions in Chinese version of EPIC-CP.Total Cronbach's α coefficient is 0.824.Cronbach's α coefficients of each dimension is 0.616～0.869.Test-retest reliability coefficient is 0.985 (95％CI=0.897～0.998).5 common factors are analyzed from principal component factor.Cumulative Percent Variance is 71.341％.Conclusion Chinese version of EPIC-CP has nice reliability and validity,which can be used to evaluate quality of life for patients with prostate cancer.关键词
