摘要

Abstract

Using scanning electron microscope,type,quantity and distribution characteristics of Plutella xylostella adult sensilla were observed.The results showed that antenna of Plutella xylostella was filamentous in shape and composed of scapus,pedicle and flagellum.Eight types of antennal sensilla were identified in both antennae,including sensilla trichodea,sensilla rod-like,sensilla styloconica,sensilla coeloconica,sensilla squamiformia,Bǒhm Bristles,terminal hair and sense pore.According to external length,sensilla trichodea in male was longer than in female,sensilla rod-like and Bǒhm Bristles in male were shorter than in female.The basal diameter of sensilla trichodea and sensilla coeloconica in male was greater than in female.There were no significant differences in number,length and basal diameter of other types of sensilla in male and female antennae.
