摘要
Abstract
Chronic infection and inflammation are associated with the development of atherosclerosis, and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is a relatively common infectious disease. This article reviews the latest advances in the association between HCV infection and atherosclerotic diseases.Studies have shown that much evidence supports the fact that HCV infection can increase the incidence of coronary heart disease, stroke, and carotid atherosclerosis and the risk of death caused by cardiovascular events.HCV infection is a risk factor for atherosclerosis.Although the underlying mechanism needs further study, more attention should be paid to the prevention and control of atherosclerotic diseases among patients with hepatitis C.关键词
