摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of modified Hardinge approach in total hip arthroplasty(THA). Meth-ods THA was performed on 86 patients with hip disease (88 hips) via modified Hardinge approach. Results All 86 cases were followed up for 6 ~24 months. No infection, joint dislocation, nerve and blood vessel injuries were found. All patients could walk without pain,and the joint activity was basically normal. At the last follow-up,the hip function was evaluated by Harris standard: excellent in 82 cases, good in 3 cases and fair in 1, the excellent and good rate was 98.8%. Conclusions Modified Hardinge approach is applied to THA,which has the following advan-tages:less trauma, good exposure, short operation time, less bleeding volume, good posterior stability of the hip joint,not easy dislocation,is easy to control the length of the lower limb, the abductor muscle recover quickly after the operation,and early functional exercises can be performed.关键词
