Design techniques of water intake structure of low dams on small and medium sized rivers at mountainous area in Jiangxi Province

摘要

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of small and medium sized rivers at the mountainous area and the main problems of water intake structure of low dams,the main design principles of water intake structure of low dams of small and medium sized rivers at the mountainous area are proposed.The design principles mainly include paying attention to location selec-tion,scientific layout,energy dissipation and reducing the water retaining.Through the sample analysis,this paper introduces the ways to implement the design principles through the whole design process of the water intake structure,which provides some reference for the design of similar structures.
