A Review of the Progress of Descriptive Framework Research in Cities
摘要
Abstract
In order to achieve better development of mankind and achieve sustainable global growth, how to better develop cities and use cities will be a major issue in the near future. However, there is no unified descriptive index and standard for cities at present, which seriously restricts the sustainable planning, construction and management of cities. Based on the concept and connotation of cities, the structural elements and the evaluation index, this study reviews the framework and methods of describing cities at home and abroad. The results show that cities are strongly interfered by human activities, and the three subsystems of economy, society and environment are integrated and complex open artificial systems, and the elements described are of multiple and multi-scale characteristics. Exploring the macro and micro structure of cities helps understand the internal mechanism of cities and relationship between the outside world and cities. It has theoretical and practical significance for the relevant institutions and organizations, decision-makers and planners to formulate urban sustainable development strategies.关键词
