Abstract
As an important information of vehicle identity recognition, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) contains important basic information of vehicles, which can fully reflect the structural characteristics, technical characteristics and business characteristics of vehicles. It plays an important role in the field of vehicle production and management. However, due to the fact that domestic and foreign standards do not provide uniform rules for the compilation of VIN, the information of vehicle characteristics provided by automobile producers is different from those of VIN coding bits, so it is difficult to effectively popularize and apply them. Through the analysis and research of the application status of VIN and the record information in the national defective vehicle product recall, this paper proposes the VIN decoding method and constructs the VIN coding integrated management information system, which will provide reference and technical support for further efficient application of VIN.关键词
