Review on Urban Sustainability Evaluation Indicators
摘要
Abstract
Measuring the urban sustainability via indicator systems is one of the most common method for the urban sustainability evaluation, there is there is still a lack of a recognized standardization system at present. The establishment of a standardized index system should be based on the existing practice and research. Based on the practice and theoretical research of urban sustainability evaluation indicator system, the paper summarizes the evaluation indicators and quantitative methods of urban sustainable development from six dimensions including economy, society, environment, infrastructure, culture and governance. It is suggested that the top-down approach should be combined with the bottom-up way in the establishment of standardization indicator system, so as to ensure the availability of indicator data while improving the comparability of indicators between different cities.关键词
