红松人工林和相邻次生林林下红松天然更新种群格局分析
Analysis of Natural Regeneration Pattern of Pinus koraiensis Seedlings Regenerated in Pinus koraiensis Plantation and Its Adjacent Quercus mongolica natural Forest

Abstract
The distribution patterns and the height and root-collar diameter of Korean pine natural regenerated seedlings and/or saplings were investigated in Pinus koraiensis plantation and Quercus mongolica secondary forest, for the purpose of exploring the growth and survival status of the Korean pine seedlings/saplings and understanding the natural regenerated population dynamics of Korean pine related to its cone picking intensities. The results indicated that: ①The age structures of natural regenerated Pinus koraiensis seedlings/saplings in Korean pine plantation and Mongolian oak secondary forest were not complete. There were two seedling/sapling number peaks of natural regenerated Korean pine in Mongilian oak secondary forest. And there were only first four years of seedling in the Korean pine plantation. ②The number of 1~3 years old seedlings/clusters and the number of clusters of the natural regenerated Korean pine seedlings in the two types of stands were in agreement with the exponential function, that was, most of the Korean pine seedlings were in single plant pattern, and just a few in cluster distribution pattern. ③The height and diameter growth of the natural regenerated Korean pine seedlings in Mongolian oak secondary forest was much better than that in Korean pine plantation. There was no significant difference between the height growth of 1~2 years old Korean pine seedlings but significant difference between the height growth of 3 years old seedlings in the two stands. But the root-collar diameter of 1~3 years old Korean pine natural regenerated seedlings in Mongolian oak secondary forest was significantly higher than that in the Korean pine plantation. It was concluded that the intensive cone picking had serious negative impact on the distribution of the natural regeneration population of Korean pine both in Korean pine plantation and its adjcent Mongolian oak secondary forest, the population age structure was not rational, most of the seedlings/sapling were presented in single plant pattern.关键词
