硅基OLED微显示的数模融合驱动电路设计
Design of digital analog hybrid driving circuit for OLED-on-silicon microdisplay

Abstract
The OLED-on-silicon microdisplay with high resolution and high refresh frequency is required in future applications.A novel active matrix OLED-on-silicon microdisplay driver architecture is proposed to reduce the pixel area and the data throughput to meet the new requirements.The proposed architecture adopts the digital-analog-hybrid scan strategy,which combines the digital pulse width modulation method and the analog amplitude modulation method.The multi-column multiplexing column drive channel is designed to meet the timing requirements.The critical timing parameters are obtained through the simulation of the column driving units.Several circuit structure schemes are compared by combining the digital-analog-hybrid scan strategy.The data throughput decreases 25 % to 64 % per second compared with the simple digital scanning strategy with the pixel pitch below 10μm.The results show that the OLED-on-silicon microdisplay driver circuit based on digital-analog-hybrid scan strategy can reduce the scanning data throughput and help to realize the high resolution and high refresh rate OLED microdisplay.关键词
