An Analysis of the Infection Rate and the Corresponding Treatment of Helicobacter Pylori in Patients with Different Types of Acne Rosacea

Abstract
Objective To observe the infection rate of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) in patients with different types of acne rosacea and the efficacies of the quadruple therapy of anti HP in different types of acne rosacea. Methods 148 patients with acne rosacea were divided into Group A (perioral/nasal) of 75 patients and Group B (full face/cheek) of 73 patients.Group C(control group) consisted of 75 healthy people who were in hospital for physical examinations. The general information of the three groups were comparable.Each group were treated with 13C urea breath test to determine whether the patients were Hp infected. All patients with acne rosacea were treated with benzoyl peroxide gel for external use,while Hp patients received cures for Hp besides the regular treatment of benzoyl peroxide gel.All patients were treated with moisturizing emollients during the treatment while avoiding various incentives. Results The infections rates of Hp in the three groups were 77.33%,58.90% and 54.67%.There is a significant difference of the infection rate of Hp between Group A and Group B,while there is no significant difference between Group B and Group C. The treatment for Hp were 77.58% effective for Hp positive patients in Group A, and 12.82% in Group B.This difference is statistically significant. Conclusion Gastric Hp infection might be a significant cause of perioral/nasal acne rosacea.关键词
