Abstract
The trial was conducted to determine the effect of vitamin E on testosterone synthesis in sheep primary leydig cells.Dorper×thin tailed Han male sheeps were slaughtered to obtain testicular tissue.Seperating the Leydig cells,and the cells were randomly divided into four groups,each with age of 2 months groups was treated with different concentrations of vitamin E (0,49,80,160 μg/mL).Enzyme (3β-HSD,17β-HSD,P450scc,CYP17) content and genes (3β-HSD,17β-HSD,P450scc,CYP17,StAR) relative expression related to testosterone synthesis were measured after the completion of the culture.The results showed that compared with control group,supplementionwith different doses of vitamin E tended to increase testosterone synthesis (P=0.061).The relative expression of P450scc mRNA and 3β-HSD mRNA (P<0.05) and the enzyme content of P450scc and 3β-HSD (P<0.05) were significantly increased by adding 40 μg/mL vitamin E.关键词
