摘要

Abstract

Objective:To explgre the effect of Shenqi pills on small intestinal stem cells and the microenvironment of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in aging rats.Methods:SD rats were divided into six month age as adult control group,22 month age as aging model group,Shenqi pill low-dose group,Shenqi pill high-dose group.The morphology of small intestine was determined by HE staining and the corresponding indexes were measured.The expression of PCNA,Bmi 1,β-catenin and GSK-3β in small intestine was detected by immunohistochemistry.Results:Compared with the adult control group,the villus length,villus width,crypt depth,and villus/crypt value (V/C) in aging group were decreased significantly.The expression levels of PCNA,Bmi 1 and β-catenin were decreased significantly,while the expression of GSK-3β was increased significantly in the intestine of the aging group.Compared with aging group,the villus length,villus width,crypt depth and villus/crypt value(V/C) of shenqi pill groups were increased significantly.The expression levels of PCNA,Bmi 1 and β-catenin were increased significantly,while the expression of GSK-3β was decreased significantly in the intestine of the aging group.Conclusion:Shenqi Pills can improve the proliferation of intestinal stem cells and upregulate Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in aging rats.
