摘要

Abstract

For the 5G hotspot millimeter wave(MMW) frequency band(26 GHz),this paper elaborates the global spectrum allocation and existing applications,and summarizes the global research trends and the pre-liminary views of some countries and regions. Then,according to other incumbent spectrum users in this band,it analyzes the key scenarios,methodologies and challenges of sharing and compatibility studies. Fi-nally,it summarizes the features of 5G system which are helpful to the compatibility with the existing radio services,and gives suggestions for future research. The contents in this paper can support the 5G frequency planning in this band.
