摘要

Abstract

To explore the effects of different chop lengths on the silage quality of feeding ramie, three groups of feeding ramie were ensiled for 60 days with 1,2 and 3 cm,and then the experiment was conducted by sen-sory evaluation and laboratory analysis,and comparatively analyzed nutrient composition and feeding value be-fore and after silage. The results showed as follows:1)the fermentation quality grade of feeding ramie silage of 1 and 2 cm groups was excellent, whereas the 3 cm group was well. 2)There were no significant differ-ences on the ammonia nitrogen to total nitrogen and contents of acetic acid and propionic acid among 1,2 and 3 cm groups(P>0.05). The pH in feeding ramie silage of 2 cm group was significantly lower than that of 1 and 3 cm groups(P<0.05). The lactic acid content in feeding ramie silage of 2 cm group was significantly higher than that of 1 and 3 cm groups(P<0.05). 3)There were no significant differences on the contents of crude protein,ether extract,crude fiber,neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber in feeding ramie before and after silage(P>0.05), but the crude ash content of 3 cm group was significantly lower than that of other groups(P<0.05),and the gross energy of 1 and 3 cm groups was significantly higher than that of 2 cm group and feeding ramie group before silage(P<0.05). 4)There were no significant differences on the roughage dry matter intake(DMI), digestible dry matter(DDM)and organic matter digestibility(OMD)in feeding ramie before and after silage(P>0.05). But the relative feed value(RFV)of 1 cm group was minimum and signifi-cantly lower than that of 2 cm group(P<0.05). Comprehensive analysis, the feeding ramie silage with 2 cm chop length has a high practical production value which with better fermentation effect, nutrient composition and feeding value.
