Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of caffeine citrate on apnea of prematurity(AOP).Methods Eighty cases of AOP were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 40 cases in each.Cases in the treatment group were given caffeine citrate for the first time with 20mg/kg and maintained at 5mg/kg after 24h,while those in the control group used aminophylline with first dosage of 6mg/kg and maintained at 2mg/kg after 12h.Results The treatment time and oxygen time in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t value was 2.605 and 2.421,respectively,both P< 0.05).Number of severe apnea was lower in the treatment group with significant difference (χ2=4.922,P<0.05).Incidence of adverse reactions such as tachycardia,high blood glucose,feeding intolerance,irritability, upper gastrointestinal bleeding phenomenon was less in the treatment group,and the differences were significant(χ2value was 16. 6677,11.7187,9.2581,19.4523 and 18.5455,respectively,all P<0.05).Conclusion Treatment of AOP using citrate caffeine is better than aminophylline and adverse reactions appear less likely.关键词
