参芥止痒散熏洗治疗小儿手足口病的临床效果
Clinical effect of fumigation-washing therapy with ginseng antipruritic powder on children with hand-foot-mouth disease

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of the fumigation-washing therapy with ginseng antipruritic powder on the children with hand-foot-mouth disease. Methods A total of 120 children with hand-foot-mouth disease were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given the conventional treatment and a clear water bath once daily,while the observation group was given the fumigation-washing therapy with traditional Chinese medicine,ginseng antipruritic powder,once daily besides the conventional treatment.To observe the duration for defervescence,oral ulcer,rash disappeared or recovery after medication in the two groups,as well as the changes in related traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores before and after treatment and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(98.33% vs 86.67%;P<0.05).The duration for defervescence,oral ulcer,rash disappeared or recovery in the observation group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,such as fever,oral ulcer,herpes,nausea and vomiting,diarrhea,and etc.,decreased with the increasing treatment time(P<0.05),an interaction was found between therapy and time,and the score of each traditional Chinese medicine symptom decreased more significantly in the observation group compared to that in the control group(P<0.05).During treatment,the children had a better treatment compliance,and no severe adverse reactions occurred,such as nausea and vomiting,allergy,anemia,or impaired liver and kidney function.Conclusion The fumigation-washing therapy with traditional Chinese medicine,ginseng antipruritic powder,can improve clinical symptoms,shorten the course of disease and promote disease recovery in the treatment of children with hand-foot-mouth disease,with an excellent efficacy,which is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.关键词
