Misdiagnosis of cerebral amyloid angiopathy and literature review
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical features and diagnostic methods of cerebral amyloid angiopathy according to the clinical manifestations of cerebral amyloid angiopathy and magnetic resonance imaging .Methods The clinical manifesta-tions ,MRI and susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) features of 3 patients with cerebral amyloid angiopathy treated in our hospi-tal were analyzed retrospectively .Results Three cases of cerebral amyloid angiopathy had main manifestationssuch as recurrent and multiple cerebral lobar hemorrhage ,dementia ,cognitive and neurological dysfunction ,transient focal neurological symptoms . Early diagnosis and differential diagnosis seem to be difficult ,SWI examination shows multiple cortical and subcortical micro-hem-orrhagic lesions and typical lesions may help diagnose andthe symptoms were improved after symptomatic treatment .Conclusion The early diagnosis of cerebral amyloid angiopathy needs to be combined with clinical manifestations and imaging studies .SWI re-sults with multiple cortical and subcortical micro-hemorrhagic lesions can be used as the main diagnostic evidence .Early diagnosis and treatment ,reducing misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis is our aim .关键词
