慢性牙周炎基础治疗前后龈沟液ET-1水平变化及其与牙周临床指标的关系

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the changes of endothelin-1(ET-1)level in gingival crevicular fluid before and af-ter treatment in the patients with chronic periodontitis,and its relationship with clinical periodontal indexes.Methods:Sixty patients with chronic periodontitis were enrolled as the treatment group and 30 healthy adults as the control group.The pa-tients in the treatment group were given basic periodontal treatment.Periodontal clinical parameters were recorded including periodontal pocket probing depth(PD),clinical attachment loss(CAL)and sulcus bleeding index(SBI).The ET-1 levels in gingival crevicular fluid were determined by Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay(ELISA).Results:The level of PD,CAL and SBI in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the clini-cal parameters in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).The level of ET-1 in gingival crevicular fluid in the treatment group[(1.84 ± 0.42)pg/mL]before treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group[(0.83 ± 0.21)pg/mL](t=16.66,P=0.000).After treatment,the level of ET-1 in gingival crevicular fluid [(1.37 ± 0.33)pg/mL]was significantly lower than that before treatment[(1.84 ± 0.42)pg/mL](t=6.816,P=0.000).The level of ET-1 in gingival crevicular fluid was positively correlated with periodontal clinical parameters CAL(r=0.437)and SBI (r=0.625)respectively(P=0.000).Conclusion:The level of ET-1 in gingival crevicular fluid increase in chronic periodontitis and decrease after periodontal treatment.ET-1 as a biomarker of periodontal disease also needs further study to determined.关键词
