摘要

Abstract

Effect of carbon source conditions on growth of Synechocystis sp. PCC6803 and Synechococcus elongates PCC7942 were studied. According to results of single carbon source, the two strains occurred the highest growth rate under 0.1 mol/L initial NaHCO3; However, PCC6803 occurred lower growth rate than that of PCC7942 under 0.2 or 0.3 mol/L initial NaHCO3. Furthermore, the OD685 nmof PCC6803 even was decreased during later stages. Under the mix carbon sources condition,there are different highest growth rates to occur between the two strains. Combined 0.1 mol/L initial NaHCO3with CO2aeration, the highest growth rate of PCC6803 was observed. Whereas, the highest growth rate of PCC7942 was studied in company with 0.1 mol/L initial NaHCO3and air aeration.
