摘要

Abstract

Taking Guangdong province as an example, this paper used life cycle assessment, jatropha biodiesel production in marginal land suitability evaluation to have a estimate on jatropha biodiesel production and carbon reduction potential quantitatively on the basis of using the ratio of energy proportion and carbon emission reduction. The results showed that the total net energy potential of jatropha biodiesel in Guangdong was 2.56×1013MJ, which is equivalent to 5.48×108t traditional diesel, the potential of carbon emission reduction is 1.92×109t. The total production potential of northern Guangdong is the highest, accounting for 36.38% of the total. According to the statistics of the administrative unit, the 21 cities are quite different, Meizhou and Qingyuan occupy one and two places,accounting for 11.00%and 10.37% of the total, respectively. The total potential of sparse woodland,shrubbery land was large,among them, the total potential of sparse woodland is the largest, which is nearly twice the potential value of shrubbery, which is 1.25×109 t.According to the unit area of marginal land,the emission reduction potential of bare land,open forest land, high coverage grassland, bare rock and gravel land is higher, and not much difference between each other. Among them, the bare land has the largest potential of emission reduction,which is 2 740.90 t/hm2of per unit area.
