Nursing of 20 Patients Requiring Reduction Maneuver for Somatization Disorder Symptoms Complicated with Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo

Abstract
This paper summarized the nursing for 20 patients requiring reduction maneuver for somatization disorder symptoms complicated with benign positional paroxysmal vertigo (BPPV). We conducted individualized reduction maneuver based on the affected semicircular canal and different parts with somatization disorder. The key points of reduction maneuver included complete understanding of patients' condition before the maneuver, health education, full preparation for the maneuver, psychological nursing and position management and notes after the maneuver. The recheck 1 week and 1 month later indicated all the patients recovered and no recurrence of BPPV was found in the 12 to 18-month follow-up.关键词
