社会保障对城镇老年人劳动参与的影响——以原城镇居民社会养老保险为例
The Effect of Social Security on Urban Elderly Labor Participation:Taking the Old-age Pension Scheme for Non-working Urban Residents as an Example

Abstract
Based on the data from China Household Finance Survey in 2013,this paper studies the effect of urban social security on elderly labor participation by using method of regression discontinuity design.We find that receiving urban social security decreases the probability of elderly labor participation by about 32.9 percent.Further studies show that, the negative effect can be attributed to the two function of social security,it provide basic insurance and reduce future income risk.Specifically, the higher the pension is, the lower the elderly labor participation rate is,what' s more,people with high income risk are seriously affected by the social security.We also find that the current social security is not enough to support elderly independently,especially for the people who cannot depend on offspring.Under this background, the elderly who enjoy both the social security and child care are more likely exit labor market.关键词
