Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of hospital-community continuous nursing on cognitive function and daily living ability of elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI). Methods From August 2014 to February 2015,45 MCI patients were chosen from Huashan Hospital,Fudan University. They were given hospital-community continuous nursing. The patients and their family members were assessed before and after the intervention,including MiniCMental State Examination(MMSE),Barthel index(BI)of daily living ability, and family members'cognition of MCI. Results The score of MMSE was slightly improved after intervention compared with that before intervention,but there was no difference between three-month and six-month groups. After intervention the BI score and family members'cognition level were significantly higher than those before intervention(P < 0. 05). Conclusion The hospital-community continuous nursing model has value in improving daily living ability of MCI patients and cognition level of family members.关键词
