摘要

Abstract

In order to study discharge capacity of the modified vertical stilling well,the main factors impacting the discharge coefficient,i.e.the pore number of multi-nozzle outlet,the relative aperture ratio,the distance-diameter ratio and the relative height of overflow weir,are obtained herein through the relevant theoretical analysis.The quantitative relationship among all the factors and the discharge is discussed with the method of model experiment concerned,while the calculation formula for the discharge coefficient and the discharge is established through the relevant measured experimental data,and then the measured values of the discharge coefficients of different relative opening areas and different relative heights of overflow weir are compared with those from the calculations concerned;from which the result shows that both of them are better coincided.Therefore,the established calculation formula for the discharge coefficient of the modified vertical stilling well can be applied to the calculation of the discharge capacity of stilling well project,thus can provide a basis for the designs of both the opening area and the overflow weir height of the modified vertical stilling well as well.
