摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To screen host plant volatiles that can increase the efficiency of sex pheromone for monitoring and control of the insect pests.[Methods]We chose two volatiles,c is-3-Hexenyl acetate and hexyl acetate,which were highly abundant in the host plants.First,the optimum concentration to elicit strongest physiological response on antennae of G.molesta males was determined using Electroantennagraphy (EAG).Then,we compared the EAG responses to single sex pheromone and the mixture of sex pheromone with the volatiles at optimum concentration.Logistic curve fitting was used to determine the tendency in the process of concentration screening.[Results]The result showed that,100 g· L-1 cis-3-Hexenyl acetate and 100 g· L-1 Hexyl acetate each had the strongest stimulating effect for male G.molesta.The increase tendency of EAG values was in accord with Logistic curve.In summary,EAG values increased rapidly when the concentration of cis-3-Hexenyl acetate ranged between 0.035 g·L-1~2.825 g·L-1 and the concentration of Hexyl acetate was between 0.017 g·L-1 ~4.592 g·L-1.The antennae response of male G.molesta increased by 1.6,1.4 and 1.5 times,when added 100 g·L-1 cis-3-Hexenyl acetate,hexyt acetate and the both into sex pheromone,respectively.[Conclusion]The two host plant volatiles,used alone or in mixture,had significant synergistic effects on sex pheromone.When used at concentration of 100 g·L-1,cis-3-Hexenyl acetate showed the highest synergistic effect for sex pheromone.
