摘要

Abstract

In this paper,we mainly study that the feasibility of the silicon carbide matrix ceramic materials as the high-temperature glass fixture.The ceramic sample of carbon particles modified silicon carbide ceramic matrix composite (Cp/SiC)was synthesized via mechano-chemical combination of pressureless sintering and characterized by XRD and SEM. Then we analysed that the different carbon content of C/SiC ceramic sintered had an influence on the rate of body shrink-age,density,bending strength,microhardness,fracture toughness and machinability mechanical properties.At the same time,we established the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model through the fuzzy mathematical theory.And try to predict the machinability of ceramic via the physical and mechanical properties,such as the fracture toughness,hardness and ben-ding strength and so on.The results were as follows:①The silicon carbide'crystal of the C/SiC composite ceramics has transformed,and the crystallinity ofα-SiC is better thanβ-SiC after sintering.②When the carbon content is 10%,the microstructure of C/SiC composite ceramics is the most dense,and the combination of carbon and silicon carbide is better in the range of 0 to 20% within the study area.③With the increase of carbon content,the density of C/SiC sintered,the rate of volumetric shrinkage,and bending strength all gradually decreased.④With the increase of carbon content,the ma-chinability of Cp/SiC gradually strengthened.
