Abstract
The mathematical models of upstream design activity execution time and information communica-tion times that are related to the designers' learning ability and information communication ability in concur-rent product development are obtained by establishing the information communication time interval function relating to the designers' learning ability and the information dependent degree function relating to designers' information communication ability.The two mathematical models are applied to estimate the execution time, the information communication times and the total cost of the upstream design activity.An example analysis is given to verify the results.The study results provide a theoretical reference for shortening product develop-ment time and reducing the product development cost in concurrent product development.关键词
