Analysis on Ventilator Management Status in Hospital
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status of hospital ventilator management, and analyze the difference of ventilator management status among different tiered hospitals. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the status of ventilator management in 286 hospitals with different ranks in China. Results There were 33.57% and 38.11% of the hospitals that had centralized or partially centralized ventilators. A ventilator preventive maintenance program was developed in 41.61% of hospitals (Tertiary hospitals were higher than secondary hospitals), and the specialists were arranged to operate the ventilators in 56.99% of the hospitals. The proportion of Grade-A Tertiary Hospitals whose respiratory therapists participate in the performance testing and routine maintenance of the ventilator was 44.05%, higher than other grade hospitals. Conclusion It is urgent for hospitals to strengthen the formulation and implementation of the ventilator preventive maintenance program, to train and introduce professional respiratory the rapists team and medical engineer team, so as to improve the operation and management level of hospital ventilators.
