摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the effects of chemical strengthening on the surface compressive stress,depth of stress layer and microhardness of glasses,ion exchange experiments were conducted using a high aluminosilicate glass.The results showed that as temperature and time increase, the stress layer becomes deeper and the microhardness becomes higher with asymmetrical rates. Besides,we obtained the dependence of the stress layer and the microhardness on the time and temperature of chemical strengthening technologies,which allows factories to predict the stress layer and microhardness of glasses of similar compositions.It is also found that the stress layer has more significant influence on the microhardness than the surface compressive stress.
