Direct Power Balance Control Scheme of the Input-independent-output-parallel Operated Full-bridge Isolated DC-DC Converters

Abstract
This paper focuses on the input-independent- output-parallel operated full-bridge isolated DC-DC converters, which is a part of the power electronics transformers. In power electronics transformers, the circuit parameters mismatch or the input voltage difference of these DC-DC converter cells will lead to the unbalanced power sharing among them, which may result overcurrent through power semiconductor devices, and even damage power devices. Thus, on the basis of the idea of direct power control, a power balance control scheme with single-phase-shift mode was proposed in this paper. And then, when the output power of the converter system is too much high, some output-parallel operated DC-DC converters cells will work in full load condition, so the over power working condition was also analyzed to meet this status. Finally, the proposed power balance control method was tested and verified on a hardware-in-loop (HIL) experimental platform with RT-LAB simulator and TMS320F28335..关键词
