摘要

Abstract

The fireside corrosion behaviours of four candidate nickel base alloys (including Inconel 740H, Nimonic 263, Alloy 617Band Haynes 282) for key components of 700℃ advance ultra-supercritical (A-USC) boilers exposed to the simulated flue/ash environments of a high sulfur domestic coal at 750℃ were investigated. The results show that the corrosion resistance of theselected nickel base alloys ranging from high to low can be concluded as: Inconel 740H, Nimonic 263, Alloy 617B, Haynes 282. The relatively higher Cr, Al, Ti contents may be responsible to the best corrosion resistance of Inconel 740H. The volatile corrosion products containing S and Mo resulted in poor corrosion resistance of Alloy 617B and Haynes 282. However the worst corrosion resistance of Haynes 282 was noticed due to the relatively low Cr content. Related fireside corrosion mechanism was discussed.
