“十二五”国家麻类种质资源平台工作研究进展
Research Progress of National Infrastructure for Bast Fiber Crop Germplasm Resources during the 12th Five-year Plan

Abstract
The National Infrastructure for Bast Fiber Crops Germplasm Resources is supported by the Institute of Bast Fiber Crops,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences,which has 12 professional researchers.There were 1204 accessions of bast fiber crop germplasm resources collected worldwide in the period of "the 12th Five-year Plan".The amount of germplasm of bast fibre crops increased to 10970 and ranked the first in the world.There were 2804 germplasm accessions identified for the agronomic traits.Of which,51 excellent and specific germplasm accessions were discovered,and 11 new germplasm were created.Altogether,2952 germplasm were distributed for utilization,about 590 germplasm per year on average,and information of about 1000 germplasm were provided for consulting services.50 accessions have been exhibited (150 times) and the total number of visitors was more than 923,and the number of germplasm on-site reservation reached 243,which greatly improved the efficiency of resource utilization.It has supported 2 national agricultural technology systems,49 science and technology projects of different kinds,bred 25 new varieties of bast crops,acquired 5 awards and trained 2 doctoral students and 14 graduate students,which showed that germplasm utilization of bast crops has been remarkable.关键词
