Abstract
Objective To develop a Chinese version of Information Needs in Cardiac Rehabilitation (INCR) Scale by translating,cultural adaptation,and test its reliability and validity,in order to provide a reference for the development of an assessment tool suitable for accessing the information needs of cardiac rehabilitation in Chinese patients with coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods The Chinese version of INCR was developed based on the translation,back translation,revision based upon cultural adaptation and semantic analysis of the original INCR. Then,during June to December 2015,we used it to survey the CHD inpatients from Department of Cardiovascular Medicine,the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University for testing its reliability and validity. Results A total of 303 inpatients were surveyed and 284 returned responsive questionnaires with a response rate of 93.7%. All the questionnaires were completed in 8-22 min,with an average of (12±4) min. For cultural adaptation and semantic analysis in accordance with the survey results,we revised the contents of items 6, 41,42,46,47 and 48. Items 22 and 54 were deleted during item analysis. Besides,item 17 and 19 were deleted at reliability test. During the factorial analysis,a common factor with eigenvalue >1.00 was extracted from each of the dimensions,and named as the same as the original scale. The factor loading of each item was equal to or greater than 0.400. After deleting items 17,19, 22 and 54,the Cronbach's α and split-half reliability coefficient were 0.956,0.865,respectively for the scale,and 0.686-0.870, 0.677-0.867,respectively for the dimensions. Conclusion The Chinese version of INCR Scale consists of 10 dimensions with 51 items,which has an ideal internal consistency. Its reliability and validity meet the requirements as a psychometric tool. Therefore,it is suitable to be applied to Chinese CHD patients for the investigation of their information needs of cardiac rehabilitation.关键词
