Abstract
Objective To explore the ability of speech discrimination and aural rehabilitation for prelingual deaf children with white matter abnormalities after cochlear implantation.Methods 25 cases of prelingual deaf children with white matter abnormalities (25 ears) selected as treatment group, and 45 cases of prelingual deaf children (45 ears) with normal white matter as control group.Two groups all received cochlear implantation. Observed and compared debugging results, aided threshold test results and the effect of hearing and speech rehabilitation of the two groups after treatment. Results One months after the operation commissioning of two groups all had auditory reaction; CAP and SIR grades of the treatment group after operation were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.01).After 12 months and 24 months between the two groups of CAP, SIR grades were not statistically significant(P>0.05). After the operation the two groups at difference frequencies hearing threshold test results were significantly better than preoperative (P<0.01), but there had no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The cochlear implantation for prelingual deaf children with white matter abnormalities, after scientific system rehabilitation training can effectively improve the auditory verbal ability, be of high safety, be worthy of clinical application.关键词
