Improving efficiency of inquiry learning using academic search engines and academic forums
摘要
Abstract
At present,inquiry learning at colleges and universities in China is still at the exploratory stage and how to carry out inquiry learning effectively is one of the important issues that all college's teachers should think about.Through investigation into college students' satisfaction of inquiry learning,the authors find that one obstacle that affects college student'inquiry learning is lack of approaches and ways of gaining information.Therefore,providing college students with approaches and ways of gaining fundamental and new disciplinary information can improve their efficiency of inquiry learning.For this purpose,we have taken the following measures to improve college students' inquiry learning efficiency:recommending students authorized search engines and academic forum websites collected during teaching practice;guiding them to gain knowledge using these search engines effectively,keep informed of new disciplinary information from the academic forum websites,learn about hot research issues and topics of different disciplines using academic conferences as the window,and have academic discussions and collaborations in problem solution based on the platform of various academic post bars.关键词
