摘要

Abstract

The microporous carbon spheres with less than 0.6 nm pores were synthesized by carbonizing resin microspheres.And the microporous carbon spheres/smaller sulfur molecules composites (A-MRF/S) were prepared by heat treatment method.SEM,EDS and XRD measurements were conducted.The results indicate that the sulfur in the form of smaller sulfur molecules (S2-4) exists in microporous carbon spheres.The charge-discharge tests show that the reversible specific capacity of A-MRF/S is 847.1 mAh/g at first cycle,the specific capacity retains 630.5 mAh/g after 100 cycles,and the coulombic efficiency reaches almost 100% in each cycle at 0.2 C.Moreover,the discharge specific capacity is 539.7 mAh/g at 2 C.The excellent cycle stability,coulombic efficiency and rate performance of A-MRF/S are attributed to the solid-solid electrochemical reaction process of smaller sulfur molecules.
