Power Coordinated Control of DC Microgrid with Wind Power,Energy Storage System and Desalination

Abstract
The joint operation of energy-intensive desalination industry and wind power has a bright development pros-pect through building a DC microgrid with wind power,energy storage system and desalination.Based on the analysis of the operation and control of each power unit,power coordinated control strategies are proposed in grid-connected and isolated operation modes,and the adjustable characteristics of desalination load are used to stabilize the DC voltage of the system in coordination with batteries:in the grid-connected mode,AC grid functions as a voltage-stability unit,and desalination load operates at full capacity;in the isolated mode,desalination load functions as adjustable load to track the fluctuation of wind power using frequency conversion and cut-in/out control in real time.Moreover,by adjusting the power exchange of the system,the cooperation of adjustable desalination load and batteries can stabilize the DC voltage of the system while reducing the charge/discharge power of batteries.A simulation model of DC microgrid with wind pow-er,energy storage system and desalination is built,and simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed power coordinated control strategy for DC microgrid.关键词
