Application of VRML in Teaching Molecular Symmetry

Abstract
Using molecular modeling software, the procedures for making VRML models of chair-cyclohexan with symmetry elements have been discussed. The interactivities of VRML can help students to grasp the 3D molecular structures and the distribution of symmetry elements intuitively, and substantially improve the teaching results of molecular symmetry.关键词
