Abstract
The most common connection mode of wind power generators in the wind power field is the kind of chain connection,but as making equivalent calculation on short-circuit current,influence of chain connection on short-circuit current is often neglected.Therefore,the paper firstly introduces IEC standard and calculation methods for short-circuit current of two kinds of wind power generators including permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) and double fed induction generator (DFIG).Then on the basis of considering chain connection and generator-end voltage distribution,it makes use of characteristic relationship of voltage and current of these two kinds of generators when short-circuit fault occurs in short-circuit loop of the wind power field to work out generator-end voltage of each wind power generator and short-circuit current of the wind power field.By example comparison,it analyzes reasons for different calculation methods for short-circuit current of the wind power filed respectively by adopting IEC standard and considering voltage distribution,and verifies the proposed calculation method considering voltage distribution by using PSCAD/EMTDC software.Results indicate the calculation result from the method considering voltage distribution is more accurate and reliable than that from IEC standard,which means this method has better economy.关键词
