摘要

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) system has a high peak-to-average ratio (PAPR), this paper proposes an iterative inversion partial transmit sequence (IPTS) companding new algorithm that combined with companding algorithm. CO-OFDM simulation experiments show that the algorithm in the iterative companding coefficient m=3, sub block parti-tion number V=4, companding coefficient μ=2, the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) value was 10-4, compared with the IPTS algorithm and μ-law companding transform, the performance of PA-PR are increased by 3.53dB and 1.21dB. When the bit error rate (BER) is 10-3, the optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) of IPTS companding algorithm (m=3, V=4, and μ=2) increases 2.51dB and 0.58dB respectively compared with IPTS algorithm (V=4) and μ-law companding algorithm (μ=2).
