Relationship between platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio and myocardial injury in patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning

Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and myocardial injury in patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning(ACOP).Methods The clinical data of 211 patients with ACOP were retrospectively analyzed.All subjects were divided into non-myocardial injury group(n =128) and myocardial injury group(n =83) according to their troponin-Ⅰ levels.The general clinical data,PLR and cardiac enzymes were compared between the two groups.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors for myocardial injury in patients with ACOP.The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the predictive efficiency of PLR on admission for myocardial injury in patients with ACOP.Results Elevated PLR and WBC counts,and male were the risk factors for myocardial injury in patients with ACOP (P ＜ 0.05).The sensitivity,specificity and the area under curve were 88.0％,43.0％ and 0.747 respectively when the diagnostic cut-off value of PLR on admission for myocardial injury in patients with ACOP was 4.70.Conclusion The patients with ACOP might be at a higher risk of myocardial injury when PLR on admission increases,and this index is valuable for predicting myocardium injury to a certain.关键词
