Abstract
Aim:To explore the effects of case management model on the quality of life and self-perceived burden in lung cancer patients with chemotherapy.Methods: A total of 230 patients with lung cancer accepting chemotherapy were selected and divided into intervention group(n=114) and control group(n=116). The intervention group attended case management program,and control group received routine care and follow-up. The quality of life and self-perceived burden of the patients were evaluated. Results: After the intervention of case management model, the overall health status and other dimensions of the intervention group were higher than those of control group except emotion function, fatigue, pain, insomnia,and economic difficulties(P<0.05). Moreover,the physical,emotional aspects of the self-perceived burden in the intervention group were lower than those of control group after intervention of case management model(P <0.05). Conclusion:Case management model could effectively improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer during chem-otherapy,and reduce the level of self-perception burden of patients.关键词
