Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the infiltration degree of eosinophils in nasal polyp tissues and the prognosis of surgery,and its relationship with eosinophil count in peripheral blood.Methods 77 cases of patients diag-nosed as chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps were retrospectively studied and divided into eosinophil group and non-eosinophil group according to postoperative eosinophil infiltration degree in nasal polyp tissues.The eosinophil counts in peripheral blood and the therapeutic effect of the patients in the two groups at their follow-up and re-examination 6 months after operation,were com-pared.Results The difference of therapeutic effect between eosinophil group and non-eosinophil group was statistically signifi-cant,but the difference of eosinophil counts in peripheral blood between the groups was not statistically significant.Conclusion Patients with eosinophil infiltration in nasal polyps has worse therapeutic effect of surgery than patients without eosinophil infiltra-tion in nasal polyps,easy to relapse.The infiltration of eosinophils in nasal polyps can serve as an important indicator for judging the postoperative curative effect.关键词
