Abstract
Objective:To analyze the application effect of preventive treatment of disease in traditional Chinese medicine in health education for preventing complications in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods:A total of 146 patients with T2DM treated in the department of endocrinology in our hospital were selected as study subject,and they were randomly divided into controlled group and observation group by random number table method,with 73 patients in each group.The controlled group received routine health education,and the observation group received health education by using the theory of preventive treatment of disease in TCM,twice a month,for a total of 8 months.The metabolism of lipid and glucose in the two groups was compared before and after intervention,and the incidence rates of complications such as liver and kidney dysfunction,cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and neuropathy caused by diabetes mellitus were statistically analyzed.Results:After the intervention,indexes of lipid and glucose metabolism such as FPG,2hPG,HbA1 c,TC,TG and LDL-C were significantly lower than those before intervention,while there was no obvious change in HDL-C.After the intervention,only HDL-C showed no significant difference between the two groups,and the other indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the controlled group (P ＜ 0.05).After the intervention,the A-DQOL score and the total incidence of complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the controlled group [(65.4 ± 1 1.3) and 6.85 ％ vs (83.6 ± 12.4) and 19.17％] (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:The application of preventive treatment of disease in TCM in health education for preventing related complications in patients with T2DM can significantly relieve high blood glucose and dyslipidemia,significantly reduce the incidence of complications,and improve the quality of life.关键词
