摘要

Abstract

To calculate the blood pressure at physiological level for normal people and at pathological level for hypertension and hy-potension patients based on characteristic parameters of pulse wave.Firstly,principal component analysis was used to obtain the princi-pal component parameters of pulse wave,and then the linear regression analysis was employed to establish the preliminary blood pres-sure calculation model between pulse wave principal component parameters and blood pressure.Afterwards,the scope and accuracy of the model was further increased by applying a database with a large sample size in combination with the principle of gradual approxima-tion.By using the characteristic parameters of pulse wave,the improved algorithm in this paper was applicable to calculate high,nor-mal and low blood pressure with high accuracy.The algorithm proposed can be used to obtain blood pressure value noninvasively at both physiological and pathological level based on the characteristic parameters of pulse wave.
