摘要

Abstract

To choose 1 300 nm NIR beams based on the theory that water absorbs near infrared light(NIR).The NIR transmittance of a unit thickness of tissue was measured under certain pressure,which could be used to distinguish the degree of edema.The results showed that under the same pressure,with increased degree of edema,the NIR transmittance of a unit thickness of tissue decreased;under the same state of tissue edema,with increased pressure,the NIR transmittance of a unit thickness of tissue increased.Also,un-der the pressure of 1 g/mm2,significant difference of the NIR transmittance of a unit thickness of a tissue among different states of ede-ma was observed.The preliminary results show that under the appropriate pressure,the NIR transmittance of a unit thickness of tissue can be used to distinguish different degrees of tissue edema.This technique can provide surgeons with objective data and assist them to make more sensible decisions during surgeries.
