Abstract
Thermal conductive composites based on polycarbonate(PC) were prepared by twin-screw extrusion melt blending using surface-modified chopped carbon fiber(CCF) and flake graphene(FGE) as fillers. The thermal,mechanical properties and fracture morphology of composites were characterized by MFR,TG,SEM and so on. The results reveal that PC/Si@(0CCF/30FGE) displays excellent heat resistance,thermal stability and conductivity. Its in-plane and through-thickness thermal conductivities are 10.9 W(m·K) and 1.0 W/(m·K),and they increase 53 and 4 times comparing to those of pure PC,respectively. However,PC/Si@(0CCF/30FGE) shows lower mechanical properties than PC/Si@(30CCF/0FGE). The thermal and mechanical properties of composites by hybrid fillers fall in between two composites based on single filler. The performances of PC/Si@(25CCF/5FGE) are better than those of PC/Si@(30CCF/5FGE). The composite by CCF breaks mainly through fracture of carbon fiber and its stripping from matrix. Nevertheless,the fracture mode for composite by hybrid fillers is whole stripping of complex including carbon fiber,graphene and matrix.关键词
