Relationship between Cornell product as well as Sokolow-Lyon voltage and metabolic indices
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the Cornell product as well as Sokolow-Lyon voltage and metabolic indices.Methods A total of 1112 community residents at the age of 40-65 years were involved in this study by cluster sampling method.The data of demographic investigation,physical examination,biochemical determination and oral glucose tolerance test or standard meal test were collected.ECG examination and body fat determination were carried out.Results Both Cornell product and Sokolow-Lyon voltage were related to blood pressure closely,but they reflected different characteristics and risk factors.Those with higher Cornell product value were more obese,older,more likely to have worse metabolic index such as blood glucose and blood lipids,and had more obvious insulin resistance.Those with higher Sokolow-Lyon voltage value were thinner.Conclution Cornell product has a significant correlation with metabolic indices,and the correlation is stronger than that of Sokolow-Lyon voltage.关键词
