摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the site selection and layout design for ward of 131I therapy in department of nuclear medicine, and provide references and suggestions about site selection and layout design for establishing a 131I therapy ward in department of nuclear medicine of medical organization. Methods: According to the current management policy in China, the therapeutic characteristics of 131I, the workflow and work experience, to discuss the relative problem about site selection and layout design for ward of 131I therapy. Results: About site selection of 131I ward therapy in medical organization, and principles and concrete solutions layout design for each function area of a 131I therapy ward section were systematically proposed. Conclusion: The 131I therapy ward need use high radioactive and volatile 131I radiopharmaceuticals, and its site selection and layout design are different with the other site of nuclear medicine. In the building of 131I therapy ward, medical organization should not only consider of characteristics of work and the workflow, but also pay attention to consider some special requirements, such as radiation protection, ventilation and decay pool and so on. Above aspects contribute to reasonably carry out site selection and layout design for 131I therapy ward and lay the foundation for optimization of radiation protection in 131I therapy ward.关键词
